Historical Marker: Winfield

There are two Historical Markers in Winfield. One is located on Berry Road, near the roundabout below Highway 97. The second, and newest, marker is situated in Beasley Park, by Ede Axelson’s sculpture, Dancing Goose.

In 2011 interpretive Historical Markers were installed in all four wards of Lake Country — Carr’s Landing, Okanagan Centre, Oyama and Winfield — by the District of Lake Country. Additional Historical Markers will be installed in Lake Country in the future.
