Display: The George Elliot Story

The Lake Country Museum’s newest satellite exhibit, The George Elliot Story, has been installed at the George Elliot Secondary School, 10241 Bottom Wood Lake Road in Lake Country, BC. The exhibit opening took place on Wednesday, May 29th, 2013, at the school which was named after this Okanagan resident.

Attending the opening were members of the Elliot family, the GESS staff, Principal Derek Lea, student representatives and interested members of the public.

The exhibit, located just outside the library in the school, highlights the life story of George Elliot with personal items donated by his son Alan.
