Leaves: Mostly basal where they sheathe stem, inverted lance-shaped, 15-30 cm (6-12") long and up to 2.5 cm (1") broad; may be 1 or 2 tiny bracts on stem
Stems: Single, round, and green
Blooming Period: June - August
Habitat: Streambanks, damp slopes in mountain woods
