Leaves: Mostly opposite; stem leaves with long stalks which branch into 3 smaller branches which branch again into opposite pairs bearing 3-lobed leaflets cleft into small round-ended lobes
Stems: Slender, rigid, more or less smooth
Blooming Period: June - July
Habitat: Moist, shady woods at middle elevations
