Leaves: 3 leaflets up to 6 cm (2 3/8") long, lance-egg-shaped, on long stalks with stipules at base (this leaf is characteristic of most clovers)
Stems: Softly hairy, branching from base
Blooming Period: April - October
Habitat: Lush meadows, roadsides
