Each Flower: Saucer-shaped, up to 2 cm (3/4") across with 5-7 white sepals usually bluish-tinged at base; many golden stamens. Below flowers is the involucre, a whorl of 3-lobed leaves
Leaves: Several basal with 1.3-2.5 cm (1/2-1") stalks; blades 3-lobed and each lobe again 3-lobed
Stems: Slightly downy and pinkish towards base
Blooming Period: May - August
Habitat: Moist meadows and streambanks, from lower to middle elevations
