Leaves: Almost fleshy, narrow up to 4 cm (1 1/2") long, shallowly grooved and arranged more or less alternately up stem which they almost clasp
Stems: Smooth, green, and single or branched
Blooming Period: April - July
Habitat: At low elevations in moist, sandy soil
