Each Flower: 9 mm-2 cm (3/8-3/4") long; standard slightly outcurved at sides; keel may be purplish and is enclosed by wings; calyx about half as ling as petals; 5-pointed and softly hairy with tiny, green, hairy bract below
Leaves: Many basal leaves 10-15 cm (4-6") long; stalks half-round, 2.5-5 cm (1-2") long, terminating in 5-41 almost opposite, flat-haired leaflets which have a greyish appearance
Stems: Flower-stems are leafless, thin, and hairy
Blooming Period: May - July
Habitat: Drier ground from lower elevations to low mountainous areas
