Leaves: Basal, with 4.2 cm (1 3/4") long stalks, terminating in 3 separate, leathery, leaf segments each 6.5-7.5 cm (2 1/2-3") long, egg-shaped with indented margins; each segment has short stalk
Stems: Visible flower-stem round, smooth, and leafless
Blooming Period: May - August
Habitat: Lake edges and bogs
