Gibson Heritage House –Final day for summer 2015 tours is Saturday, August 22nd.

Heritage Exploration
While you visit the park you can enjoy tours of the 1912 heritage house. It’s open from noon to 4:00 p.m.

Tour Gibson House in Carr's Landing

Visit Gibson Heritage House at Kopje Regional Park and discover what life was like on an orchard homestead in the early 1900’s. This stately beach home was built by George Gibson in 1912 and has been entirely restored and refurnished by community donation. It includes artifacts from the 1910-1930’s era and local historical information. Regional Heritage Exploration Programs are available by donation for school and community groups who’d like to learn about our local cultural history.

Location/Address:
Gibson Heritage House is located in Kopje Regional Park at 15480 Carrs Landing Road in Lake Country B.C.

Directions:
Take Highway 97 North through Winfield and turn left on Oceola Road. Turn right on Carrs Landing Road and follow to Kopje Regional Park.

Music In The Park — held on the Oyama Community Club grounds on Saturday August 22nd.

Lake Country Open Air Performances

The music begins at 6:30 p.m. with Olivia Penalva.

The second act begins at 7:30 p.m. with Blue Skies, the Trio.

This is a free event for the whole family, so come on down. Bring an blanket or some lawn chairs and watch the show.

Sunday, August 23, 2015:

CentrePiece at Okanagan Centre Park — from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Join your Lake Country community for Okanagan Centre’s annual community festival: burgers, hot dogs, root beer floats, children’s games, heritage photo booth, and music.
