The Canadian Federation of University Women Evening Speaker Series opens on Tuesday, March 1st at 7:00 p.m. at the Okanagan College Theatre in Vernon.
The series begins with Jean Barman, an amazing historian, researcher and author, who will be “remembering Okanagan indigenous women”.
Barman recently published the book French Canadians, Furs and Indigenous Women in the making of the Pacific Northwest.
Tickets are $15.00 and are available at the Bean Scene (in Vernon, BC) or at the door. Come out, listen, learn, and ask questions. Refreshments will be served.
