Display: Children at Play

Toys and gamesWe dug into the Museum toy box to fill the current display at the District of Lake Country Offices. It includes vintage games such as Pig in the Clover, Dominoes, and Autobridge Junior. Featured toys in the showcase are a metal dump truck, Sta-lox building blocks, a plastic RCMP on his horse, dolls, and a ‘Little NHL’ Toronto Maple Leafs helmet. The oldest item may be the Pig in the Clover game which has an inscription dated 1924.
