Leaves: Round in outline from 2-15 cm (3/4-6") across, deeply cleft into 3 lobes, each lobe deeply notched and finely dissected; mostly from base and with short stalks
Stems: Smooth, creeping, and branching into flower-stems
Blooming Period: May - August
Habitat: Mud flats, slough edges, streambanks, and marshes
