Leaves: Single, smooth, long leaf-stalk from root-stock divides into 2 to 5 branches, each 7.5-15 cm (3-6") long, each one again dividing into 3 short-stalked leaflets; spreading leaves obscure flowerheads
Stems: Flower-stem leafless and shorter than leaf-stalk
Blooming Period: May - June
Habitat: Moist, shaded, woody areas
