Each Flower: 7-9 mm (1/4-3/8") long, conspicuous by bell-shaped, 5-lobed cream to greenish-yellow calyx which obscures narrow, shorter petals which may be absent
Leaves: All basal with stalks and oval blades which are lobed and scalloped round the edges, and 1.3-4 cm (1/2-1 1/2") long
Stems: Unbranched and leafless except for 1 or 2 brownish bracts; may be hairy above and less hairy below
Blooming Period: April - August
Habitat: Rocky areas and dry, gravelly banks and slopes
