Leaves: Cluster of lance-shaped, basal leaves 7.5-20 cm (3-8") long and 7 mm-2.5 cm (1/4-1") broad and very bristly; may be 1 or 2 small stem-leaves
Stems: Unbranched, rigid, and strongly hairy
Blooming Period: June - September
Habitat: Fields and roadsides
