Each Flower: 9-16 mm (1/2") long, narrow, bell-shaped with 5 distinct lobes; petals hairy within; 4 stamens, 2 long and 2 short, surround a longer style
Leaves: 11 mm-2 cm (3/4") long, opposite, small, rounded, leathery, slightly toothed above the middle on either side
Stems: Trailing, often 1 m (3.3') long, forming loose mats with short, erect, leafy branches, forked at top to bear "twin flowers"
Blooming Period: June - September
Habitat: Open to dense forests from low to upper elevations
