Leaves: Mostly basal, up to 20 cm (8") long, with many opposite pairs of small, pointed egg-shaped leaflets and terminal leaflet; stem leaves much smaller
Stems: Herbaceous, smooth below, slightly sticky-haired above; may be reddish-tinged
Blooming Period: May - August
Habitat: Mostly at higher elevations in moist open or wooded, shady areas
