Leaves: Narrow, inverted lance-shaped with wavy edges in loose rosette at base; many almost overlapping stem-leaves are long, narrow, and eared where they clasp stem
Stems: Mostly single but occasionally branched
Blooming Period: May - August
Habitat: Sagebrush flats and slopes in dry desert areas
