Leaves: All basal, very short-stalked and paddle-shaped, 5-5.6 cm (2-2 1/4") long and 1.5 cm (5/8") broad, slightly hairy and sometimes pinkish at tips
Stems: Green, round, and with short red hairs, slightly "sticky"
Blooming Period: April - May
Habitat: Open, moist, grassy places from low to sub-alpine elevations
