Leaves: 3 or 4 basal grass-like leaves 5-18 cm (2-7") long and folded longitudinally forming a keel; often a smaller leaf halfway up flower-stem
Stems: Rigid, round, and green
Blooming Period: March - July
Habitat: Grassy slopes in drier sagebrush country, and in moist open areas at higher elevations
