Leaves: Basal, pointed paddle-shaped, 6.5-9 cm (2 1/2-3 1/1") long 1.3-1.5 cm (1/2-5/8") broad and reddish
Stems: reddish, softly hairy main stem, branches above into flowering stems
Blooming Period: April - August
Habitat: Moist grassy areas from low elevations to above timberline
