Leaves: Mostly from base with stalks 2-15 cm (3/4-6") long; blades almost round or broad kidney-shaped and slightly serrated, 2-3 cm (3/4-1 1/4") broad, thin, smooth, and green; often remain green through winter
Stems: Smooth, up to 5 cm (2") long; 1 or 2 small leaves with stipule where stalk joins main stem
Blooming Period: May - August
Habitat: Alpine and sub-alpine slopes
