Leaves: Lower leaves have hairy, reddish stalks, oppositely lobed dissected leaflets; 1 or 2 pairs of opposite stem-leaves
Stems: Rigid, hairy, reddish, opposite branching with small swelling and stipules where they branch
Blooming Period: April - July
Habitat: Open, drier ground
