Leaves: Opposite, short stalks off main stem; blades heart-shaped, 2.5-6.5 cm (1-2 1/2") long, 2-5 cm (3/4-2") wide, sharply toothed, covered with soft hairs; aromatic when crushed
Stems: Stout, square, downy, branching at leaf-axils
Blooming Period: June - September
Habitat: Moist roadsides, waste places, and ditches
