Each Flower: 1.5-2.5 cm (5/8-1") long including spur 1.3 cm (1/2") across, wide funnel-shaped, opening into 2 lips, upper lip roundly 2-lobed, lower, roundly 3-lobed and longer, middle lobe greyish and hairy; funnel tapers backwards into 7 mm (1/4") round-ended spur; green, short-haired, 5-lobed calyx grasps tube at back of upper lip
Leaves: In flattish, basal rosette; broad-elliptic, pale green with rolled-up edges; upper surface sticky, insectivorous
Stems: Flower-stems unbranched, green, covered with short hairs
Blooming Period: July - August
Habitat: Bogs, damp river banks, from foothills to mountainous elevations
