Leaves: Several basal leaves with reddish, downy stalks; blades kidney-shaped and very shallowly several lobed; lobes shallowly toothed, 4-7.5 cm (1 1/2-3") broad
Stems: Thin, leafless, slightly hairy, and reddish below
Blooming Period: May - August
Habitat: Moist mountain meadows and slopes up to timberline
