Each Flower: 3 yellowish, triangular sepals 3-5 mm (1/8-3/16") long; middle upper sepal more rounded. 2 narrower petals almost same length as upper sepal and greener; lip more oblong and a little longer than petals; spur very thin and cylindrical about same length as lip; ovary green, 6-15 mm (1/4-5/8") long, with tiny bract at base
Leaves: 2 or 3 basal leaves, 7.5-9 cm (3-3 1/2") long and 1.3 cm (1/2") to over 2.5 cm (1") broad, becoming narrower at tip
Stems: Smooth and green with 2-6 bracts at intervals
Blooming Period: June - August
Habitat: More open grassy areas in dry or moist places up to middle elevations
