Tomorrow night, Saturday, March 17th, 2012, Dr. Duane Thomson (president of the Lake Country Heritage and Cultural Society) will be addressing the Kelowna Branch of the Okanagan Historical Society.
The Laurel Packinghouse (Ellis Street) in Kelowna will be the venue for the 64th Annual General Meeting & Dinner of the OHS, Kelowna Branch. Tickets include dinner, Branch membership and newsletters, and this presentation by Dr. Thomson. Thomson’s presentation is Fur Traders & First Nations People of the Okanagan Valley.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m.
