In October of 1893,Vernon city clerk Mr. Davies, conducted the auction on three days between Oct. 12 and Oct. 23. He sold 42 lots totaling 1,382 acres to 14 buyers for $6,375.50. 316 lots remained unsold. There were 360 lots in the subdivision. 2 lots were Crown granted prior to the sale. Leonard Norris was the auction clerk.
